Deccan chargers is one eight teams in the DFL IPL, Indian Premier League. It was lead by VVS Laxman in the IPL 2008 and now by the Australian Skipper, Adam Gilchrist. The squad has excellent batsmen from various countries and eminent bowlers. Rohit Sharma, right arm bowler has taken a hat-trick in this year’s IPL. Batsmen like Andrew Symonds, Hershelle Gibbs, Thirumalashetty Suman, Venugopal Rao have contributed to the winning. RP Singh is now the leading wicket taker and has the “purple cap” for taking highest number of wickets. These men in blue never failed to charge the spectators and cricket fans. And now, they are the champions of DLF IPL 2009.
